The Comtesse Apartment offers plenty of space, light and an elegant ambience for guests who value independence and comfort.

The living area is decorated in light, elegant tones and furnished with a comfortable sofa and a beautiful dining area. The open-plan white kitchen leaves nothing to be desired: a large refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher and a spacious ceramic sink make cooking a pleasure.

Wood-effect tiled floors give the newly renovated apartment a warm, modern feel. The separate bedroom has a large double bed and the bathroom has a spacious shower.

A private entrance and separate outdoor seating area ensure maximum privacy.

On request (direct enquiry), the apartment can be extended to include additional bedrooms.

Mirepoix and the surrounding area have a wide variety (>30) of restaurants and bars catering to all tastes and budgets. Recommendations available on request.

Shopping 
In Mirepoix, there is a Super U (large supermarket), Aldi, Carrefour Express and an organic shop. On Monday mornings, there is a large market, and on Thursday mornings, there is a small market in the central square in Mirepoix. A local vegetable stall and an apple farmer offer their products on site at various times. There are also bookshops, clothes shops and almost everything your heart desires.

The Domaine Rimbaut is only about a 4-minute drive from the centre of Mirepoix. By bike, it takes about 10-15 minutes. On foot, it takes about half an hour. From Mirepoix towards Carcassonne, cross the bridge over the Hers to the north and then turn left onto the D 625 heading west (towards Villefranche / Belpech). After about 50 metres, turn immediately right onto the D 106 (towards Lafage/Saint Aulin). Follow the road through Barthas and Bize. At the top of the hill, you will see Domaine Rimbaut. From there, it is only a few hundred metres to a small path on the left that leads to Rimbaut.

Mirepoix can be reached twice a day by bus from Carcassonne during the week (Monday to Friday) – line 405. In July and August, also on weekends – line 450.
