Mirepoix and surroundings
There is plenty to do in the medieval town of Mirepoix
and the surrounding area, especially in summer: festivals, markets and activities such as the classical music festival in August (Castel Artès), the MiMa with puppets and theatre, historical events and horse shows. There are also various evening markets with local specialities in the surrounding villages and at various wineries, which contribute to making your holiday in Mirepoix a wonderful experience.

Lunch / Dinner
Mirepoix and the surrounding area have a wide variety (>30) of restaurants and bars catering to all tastes and budgets. Recommendations available on request. Shopping In Mirepoix, there is a Super U (large supermarket), Aldi, Carrefour Express and an organic shop. On Monday mornings, there is a large market, and on Thursday mornings, there is a small market in the central square in Mirepoix. A local vegetable stall and an apple farmer offer their products on site at various times. There are also bookshops, clothes shops and almost everything your heart desires.

In Mirepoix: Public swimming pool, 4 tennis courts (including one indoor court), 1 padel court, sports field at the football and rugby club. And additionally the ‘voie verte’ hiking and cycling trail, the GR7 to Andorra, the Way of St. James and the Chemin de Pezegado all pass through Mirepoix.
